Abargandar is a very dark and twisted city. THis is the city of the drow. They live in a complex system of houses in a world where status is everything. The houses are formed from great stalagmites that have been shaped and formed by ancient magic. Each ouse has its own name and the residents of the houses fiercely defend their reputation and position in the complex hierachy that exists in Abargandar. The highest house is considered to be the ruling house of Abargandar. Each house is ruled by a matron mother, the high priestess to Lolth in the family. Feemales rule this society. Males are seen as just servants to the females. Males usually will not get far in the hierarchy of Abargandar.
Adventurers beware. Almost anything that tries to enter Abargandar ends up dead by either blade or spell. It is not easy, but life in Abargandar means constant security. You must always watch your back, for there just might be a knife poised there.
